Andrea Pirlo, footballing stalwart, Juve midfield general, has been declared fit to return to the pitch in time for the second leg of the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund. The Italian sustained a thigh injury in the first leg against Dortmund
Earlier this week it was revealed that he would under go tests to determine if he would be fit enough to face the German outfit for the return for the return fixture at the Westfalenstadion. Early this morning, club and player received the good news that he would be available to face Die Schwarzgelben on Wednesday, although he will have to sit out the next game against Palermo.
Either way, we the footballing faithful hope for a swift return. At least so we can see similar scorchers:
