Preview: Burnley Vs Manchester City

Man City make the trip to Turf Moor to continue improving on their form ahead of that vital game at the Nou Camp, especially after it seems like they have lost their way

Burnley sit 19th on the table and although they have shown a lot of spirit and spaks, they just cannot seem to escape this relegation battle. having won only one of their last 9 games, they are winless 8 and facing the league champions this weekend will not help with these stats. A home win, especially against the champions, will not only help their cause but will improve morale as well

Man City have to deal with this contest before their mid week date with Barcelona. Five points adrift from Chelsea, this is a must win game for them. Focus and professionalism must be exhibited here, especially as reports indicates discord in the troops. Pelligrini must rally his men to perform in what is an impoertant week for them. Maximum points must be their only aim if they want to keep up with Chelsea while maintaining the distance between them and the others below them

Star Man Danny Ings picked up an injury last time out against Liverpool and is a doubt for today's Premier league bout. They also have to do without Kevin Long, Matthew Taylor and Dean Marney. Man City on the other hand have a full well, well rested squad and their only problem will be a selection headache

Prediction's? Although at the Ethiad, this game produced a draw, this is a City side that has won 17 out of the last 19 EPL games and a Burnley side that couldn't do the job in the last eigh, as well as the distinction of having the fewest wins in the league this season, plus last time Burnley pulled off a win against the Citizens was in 1974. I wonder what you think
