Sunderland have parted ways with Gus Poyet after a horrendous showing as of late. Gus Poyet, who took over the managerial position at the Stadium of Light in October 2013, has recorded just one victory in his last 12 premiership games.
The Black Cats, were also on the wrong end of a 4-0 trashing at home to fellow league strugglers Aston Villa on Saturday. The humiliating game saw fans walk out of the stadium before halftime.
