Highlights: Everton vs Newcastle

Roberto Martinez and his Toffees do well to take a bit of pressure off themselves as they seal a convincing win against the Magpies ahead of their Europa Cup return leg against Dynamo Kiev. However at the same time, Newcastle seem to be slipping closer and closer to relegation battle form. John Carver needs to do something in order to keep his team up and also in order to avoid the unemployment line. the Goodison Park faithful would have enjoyed this win thoroughly.
