Highlights: Borussia Dortmund vs Juventus

Juventus rocked the very foundation of the Wesfalenstadion as the started their route with an early Tevez to eventually win the game and the draw in a convincing manner to show that Juve are back in town and that they mean business. Dominant from the get-go, they gave Jurgen Klopp's men tons of trouble and a Tevez brace, each goal scored at both ends of a Morato goal solidified Juve's hold on the draw.

Borussia Dortmund for their part in this should not feel sore. They proved too tame for such an event that needed a powerful response, their attack too tame, their defence too weak. Gigi Buffon only had to make two saves tonight and they were battered in front of their most loyal of fans. This season has given them nothing to boast about but they still fared better than others in this competition. Perhaps getting knocked out is exactly what they needed to recuperate, and Marco Reus and co will go back and regroup in order to come back stronger.

However the night belonged to Juve, who will be the only Italian team to still be in the competition. This result will show Juve's progress in their quest to be amongst Europe's best or at least for the time being and Friday's draw will be greatly anticipated by Allegri & Co as to what challenge lies ahead.
