Aston Villa v West Brom: Aston Villa simply cannot afford to lose.

Aston Villa vs West Bromwhich Albion promises to be an exciting encounter. The rivalry between these sides dates back to 1887, when Aston Villa beat West Brom 2-0 to win its first FA Cup.
Aston Villa have gone on to secure 7 league titles and 5 FA Cups. West Brom is also historically successful. They have 1 league  title to their name and 5 FA Cups. Todays encounter however, sees the more successful Villa, eight points behind their bitter rivals. Aston Villa is also currently facing a real relegation threat. Failure to beat the drop will be the first for Villa in the history of the Barclay's Premier League. Thus, coupled with the usual historical rivalry against West Brom this match has relegation implications. It is therefore a must win game for Aston Villa.

Injury worries.
 For Aston Villa, Kieran Richardson and Aly Cissokho are unavailable so Matt Lowton could again deputise at left-back.
West Brom boss has fitness concerns over Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye, who both limped off against Southampton on Saturday with respective foot and knee injuries.Striker Victor Anichebe remains sidelined by a groin problem.
Prediction
