Should Wayne Rooney Play Up front Tonight

In my eyes, Manchester United has a big problem. We just aren't flowing, not like we used to. It's not like the good old days, where it seemed that it was only a matter of time before we win. Watching Saturday's game against West Ham, there were hints of the past. However it was still nowhere near our expected best.  I'd say that the main reason is for such underwhelming performances is simple; these guys are being played out of position.

Take Valencia for example. My man has been improved in that right back position. Now he wins headers, his tackling has improved some. However in my fantasy team, I'd never pick him even as a sub for that position. He is an attacker. He even played attacking midfield for Ecuador. To me, he lacks the defensive spirit. The "though shall not pass" mentality. This isn't his fault. The bad boy is a forward.

Which leads me to my captain Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney deserves to be leading the line. He has the ability: be it strength, pace, intuition, good game play and finishing. Why is this guy still playing behind Van Persie and Falcao? Please Remember, this is the Boy Wonder, Wayne Rooney.

His ability to adapt, coupled with Man Us midfield problems which led to this unpalatable situation, has resulted in Rooney being stuck in this undesirable state. His goal tally hasn't reached 20 for the season since this bull began. Yes there was a midfield problem, but come on.

We all want to see Rooney killing it. Van Gaal, come on bruh... Maybe this can convince you.
